Gyournal ("we", "our", or "the app") is a local-first workout journaling application. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Gyournal does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any data transmitted over the internet

Information Stored Locally

The following information is stored exclusively on your device and never leaves it:

• Display Name: An optional name you can set for personalization
• Workout Data: Your exercise logs, including dates, exercises performed, weights, sets, reps, duration, and distance
• Preferences: Your chosen measurement units (kg/km or lbs/mi)

This data is stored using your device's local storage and is only accessible by the Gyournal app on your device.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because:

• We do not collect any data
• All data remains on your device
• The app functions completely offline

Data Security

Your workout data is protected by your device's built-in security features. Since data never leaves your device, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your Gyournal data at any time by:

• Clearing the app's data through your device settings
• Uninstalling the application

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered as we do not maintain any backups.

Children's Privacy

Gyournal does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages as it requires no personal information and stores all data locally.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
